Limerick might not play Barcelona but they might play Tralee Dynamos!!

FAI FORD CUP Third Round Draw:

For the second season Tralee Dynamos name went into the hat with the 22 Premier and First Division teams plus nine other A Championship and non League sides.

Dynamos were the twelfth ball out of the hat meaning an away trip but it was the shortest one possible as they will now face Limerick, if they can get over Tolka Rovers in their second round replay, away in Dublin next weekend.

Of course Limerick and Dynamos share a lot in common with Chris Kerins, James Sugrue, David Conway and Peter McCarthy all having played with the Shannon-side team while Tralee’s Sean Kelly and Daniel Clinton are on the current Limerick squad.

The tie of the round is probably the game between Dundalk and St Pats while holders Sporting Fingal begin the defence of their trophy with a home tie against Mervue United. The third round ties will be played on the weekend of June 6th.

So now its five Cup wins between now and the FAI Cup Final in the Aviva Stadium!!
