DYNAMOS AWARDS NIGHT: We will be presenting Castle Bar - Greyhound Bar trophies for seniors and League and Cup trophies for the youth team on Saturday 12th of July. Venue will be posted on this website in the next few days.

DENNY PREMIER LEAGUE SEMI-FINALS: Killarney Celtic 1 Tralee Dynamos 0 Our season finished in cruel fashion last Saturday night when we conceeded a goal in the 94th minute. A Brian Spillane free kick from the half way line was headed out by a Dynamos defender it  hit the shoulder of a celtic player and rebounded across the 6 yard box to be tapped home by the Killarney Celtic striker Vladamir Siriotak. Dynamos will be dissapointed when we had the ball in the net earlier in the game only for the referee to rule out the goal for an infringment on the goalkeeper a decision not agreed by all!! It must be said this game was a very sporting game between both sides who know each other well. We wish Killarney Celtic the best of luck when they play Lisselton in the league final over the coming weeks. A special thanks to all the players for the committment they have shown all through the season in difficult circumstances.

DENNY PREMIER LEAGUE PLAY OFF: Dingle Bay Rovers 2 Tralee Dynamos 3 Conceeding a goal with just 1.12 on the clock Dynamos responded well almost dominating all sectors of the pitch. The opening goal for Dynamos came when Billy Stack's mazy run was impeeded by a Dingle defender and Referee Brian Healy had no hesitation pointing to the spot. Eddie Duggan stepped up to score from the spot. Dingle restored their one goal lead and again Eddie Duggan equalised. Dynamos pressed on applying pressure the defence never under pressure dealing with anything that came their way. David Conway and Adrian Quirke in the middle of the park started to dominate so it was only a matter of time before the pressure would reap dividends. Eoin Cassidy spotted Billy Stack down the left wing hitting a 50 yard diagonal pass Stack took on his man going forward first then back spotting Duggan alone at the far post he crossed a superb ball for the inrushing Duggan whos diving header gave Dynamos the win and Eddie Duggan got a superb hatrick. Dynamos now advance to the League semi final against Killarney Celtic. The winners will meet Lisselton in the final after their 3-0 win over Listowel.

DIVISION 1A: Ballybunion 2 Tralee Dynamos 4 The B team got a badly needed 3 points that now put them in a 4 way playoff to avoid relegation. One man dominates the weekend Eddie Duggan after scoring a hatrick for the A team on Saturday night duly obliged the B team and scored another hatrick. 6 goals in one weekend is a fantastic achievement. Well done Eddie.

KENNEDY CUP: Well done to the Kerry team who reached the final of the Kennedy Cup losing to the D.D.S.L. in the final on a scoreline of 1-0. Kerry had wins over Cork, Donegal, North Dublin, Roscommon and drew 1-1 with the Desmond League in the opening match. Well done to coaches Pat O'Sullivan, Darren Aherne & Mike Kelly for a fantastic achievement. more

GREYHOUND BAR CUP: Killarney Celtic 2 Tralee Dynamos 1 Despite short several first team players Dynamos put in a very battling performance against a full strenght Killarney Celtic team. Celtic took the lead after 25 minutes from a David Hayes piledriver from 25 yards that gave keeper Tim Cotter no chance in the Dynamos net. Eddie Duggan was denied in a 1 v 1 situation to equalise before the half. Teams retired at half time 1-0. Again Dynamos pressed in the second half without success. A defensive mistake led to Celtic's  second goal by Peter McCarthy. Again the spirit and committement by the Dynamos players was very evident to all as they battled back in to the game. Billy Stack corner powered to the net by Adrian McHugh gave Dynamos a deserved goal. Over the last 15 minutes Dynamos pressed forward but to no avail. The loss of Maurice O'Rahilly and James Wall through suspension proved to be very expensive but with both players back for the Dingle play off game Dynamos still have the opportunity to progress to meet Celtic again in the League semi-final.

KINGDOM BOYS UNDER 15: Ken Sweeney Under 15 team just came up short against an excellent Listowel Celtic team. Great credit is due to Kingdom Boys who lie 2nd in Division 1 with Listowel Celtic top of the premier table. The game finished 2-2 with Listowel Celtic winning the penalty shoot out 4-3 more

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Dynamos 2 Lisselton Rovers 3. Tralee Dynamos ended their league programme with a dissapointing loss. Dynamos opened the scoring early in the first half when a determined Eddie Duggan applied pressure on the Lisselton full back forcing the mistake, Eddie gained possesion and crossed for the inrushing Adrian McHugh to side foot into the net. Lisselton got the goal back before the break with both teams happy to be level. Lisselton got a fortunate second goal when a throw in went to Anthony Glasheen who's intended cross went straight into the net. Dynamos got an equaliser in equally fortunate circumstances after play had left the Lisselton box referee Jim O'Connor spotted an off the ball incident involving Adrian McHugh and Lisselton's central defender Eoin Brosnan and pointed to the spot. Eddie Duggan took the penalty and scored to register another goal. With time almost up 90 minutes played the impressive James Sugrue linked up with his forwards to score the winner leaving no time for Dynamos to recover. A very competitive game by two good sides something we dont see enough of with the 2 premier divisions. The most dissapointing fact that emerged from yesterday was Tralee United failure to travel to Dingle thus giving Dingle the points need to equal with Dynamos and force a play off.

CASTLE BAR LEAGUE CUP: Ballyheigue 1 Tralee Dynamos 5 Adrian McHugh hat trick all with his "weaker foot" and a James Wall brace gave Dynamos a comfortable passage into the semi finals of the Castle Bar Cup. Balyheigue's goal came from their keeper when referee Jim O'Connor awarded a late penalty to Ballyheigue. Well done to Craig O'Hara, Anthony Shanahan & Daniel Clinton from our youth team who started and Gary Nolan when introduced as sub in the second half. David Conway back from the U.K. to help out the Kerry team on Sunday put in a very productive 90 minutes, good to see David back in a Dynamos shirt.

GET WELL SOON: Jonathan Burrows who had his appendix removed earlier this week. Jonathan was released from hospital yesterday and went to the game last night.

HENNEBERY SPORTS RESEVE CUP: Round 2 Fenit Samphires Vs Tralee Dynamos B

GREYHOUND BAR KO CUP: Fenit Samphires 0 Tralee Dynamos 2 Dynamos the holders of the Greyhound Bar Cup had a comfortable passage into the next round of the Cup. Goals from central defenders Jonathan Burrows and Maurice O'Rahilly ensured victory for the reds. Great to see Jonathan score his debut goal for the season Jonathan has been an unsung hero for Dynamos putting in consistent performances week in week out all year. Timmy Cotter in goal had a solid 90 minutes with excellent handling of the ball. Anthony Shanahan made his first start for the A team and Craig O'Hara made his senior debut for the A team well done lads.....

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Dynamos 3 Rattoo Rovers 2 . Adrian McHugh goal in the first half to equalise the game and a brace of goals from Eddie Duggan in the second half gave Dynamos a comfortable win despite the look of the scoreline. Rattoo went ahead early in the first half only for Dynamos to score a few minutes later. The highlight of the game came when centre back Maurice O'Rahilly left his centre back position and linked up with the attack receving the ball on the left flank his deep cross met the inrushing Eddie Duggan who's spectactular volley rifled to the net giving keeper Kenneth Boyle no chance. Eddie Duggan sealed the win a couple of minutes later beating the offside line with an excellent timed run getting one on one with the keeper sidefooting to the net to give Dynamos a 3-1 lead. Rattoo got a consolation goal that had a fair hint of offside about it deep into injury time 48th minute by the watch to give a scoreline of 3-2. This win puts Dynamos in a very good position to make the semi final though Dingle could force a playoff with Dynamos if they win their last 3 games and Dynamos lose at home to Lisselton.

BEST OF LUCK: Kerry Under 16 team who play Waterford in the All Ireland Semi Finals this Sunday at the R.S.C. in Waterford. Kingdom Boys players in the squad are Robert Birdsall, Audi Dunlea, Sean O'Reilly.

WELL DONE: John Dineen and Steven McCarthy both playing with Cork City on their recent Munster Youths Cup win.

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Dynamos 4 Dingle Bay Rovers 0. Dynamos with a comphrehensive win over Dingle Bay Rovers have giving themselves a fantastic opportunity of getting to the League semi - finals. With both defences on top over the first 35/40 minutes Adrian McHugh back from injury after 8 weeks out headered powerfully to the net a couple of minutes before the break. Overall from a Dynamos perspective it was a dissapointing first half but manager Colm Clifford rallied the players at the half and what a 45 minutes we got in the second half. First up Damien Quirke's surging run straight up the middle of the pitch until he was tackled unfairly and referee Jim O'Connor awarded a free just outside the box. Damien Diggins placed the ball 20 yards out, Dingle with seven men in the wall Damien stepped up to take the free kick and with panache he curled the free kick in to the top corner of the net for a goal of sheer quality. Damien departs for Boston this week and with David Conway departing last week both players will be sorely missed by all in the club. Dynamos third found Adrian McHugh unusually out in the wing his pinpoint cross found Eoin Cassidy who's timing of run was superb with a glancing header that gave the Dingle keeper no chance. Dynamos final goal came when Billy Stack got possesion on the right wing looked like he would lose possesion both gamely regained the ball ran up the line and crossed Eoin Cassidy chested the ball down for the inrushing Theo Diggins to volley to the bottom corner of the net to seal a great second half performance for Dynamos.

DIVISION 1A: Tralee Dynamos 1 Spa Road 0. Eddie Fosters men gathered a valuable win and 3 points in Tralee's local derby. Anthony Shanahan scored the games only goal in a game where Dynamos were excellent value for the win. This win gives Dynamos an excellent chance of avoiding relegation its vital that all members make an extra effort in training over the coming weeks.

BON VOYAGE: Best wishes to David Conway who has moved to England. David has been a fantastic player for club and county over the last couple of years. We wish David the best of luck with employment in the U.K.

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Dynamos 2 Inter Kenmare 1. Goals from James Wall and Eddie Duggan gave the team a valuable 3 points.

MANCHESTER CUP: Well done to the Kerry team under 13 who won the Manchester Cup winning 5 out of the 6 games played. Kingdom Boys had Gearoid Clifford son of Colm 1st team manager, Michael Wrenn, Johnathon Hannifin, Niall Sheehy, Darragh Carmody & David Moynihan in the squad. Also part of the squad was Paul White son of Coach Noel.

YOUTHS LEAGUE: Tralee Dynamos 5 Dingle Bay Rovers 1. Tralee Dynamos finished off the season on a high note with a very good win over Dingle Bay Rovers. Unfortunately for the youths Listowel Celtic beat The Park 1 - 0 to book their semi final place ahead of Tralee Dynamos by 1 point at the end of the season. Great credit is due to all players who contributed to the team. Well done for all the hard work must go to Damien Quirke and Theo Diggins who took over the team mid season and as the results show they finished the season on a great high.

BEST OF LUCK: Dynamos players Maurice O'Rahilly & David Conway who play against Eircom league Divison 1 side Waterford United in Mounthawk next Monday 24th of March at 2.30.

HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY: To first team player Eddie Duggan who celebrates the big 3-0 this weekend.

CASTLE BAR LEAGUE CUP: Killarney Celtic 0 Tralee Dynamos 1. Tralee Dynamos Cup Holders advanced to the next round of the Castle Bar Cup after James Wall gave Dynamos the lead in the first half and in a game they never looked like conceeding a goal. The scoreline flatters Celtic somewhat as Dynamos could have bagged at least another brace in the first half. Dynamos through manager Colm Clifford made some tactical changes and these had a huge bearing on the game switching James Wall with Damien Diggins proved to be the decisive tactic that won the game for the reds. Tim Cotter in goal had a quiet afternoon but when called into action exuded confidence with his safe handling. Back four of Adrian Quirke, Maurice O'Rahilly, Johnathon Burrows and man of the match Darren Crotty dealt comfortably with anything Celtic threw at them. Dynamos quietly confident before this game won the midfield battle hands down with the hard working David Conway and Damien Diggins supplying the forwards with a plentiful supply of ball. Theo Diggins and Damien Quirke on the flanks caused the Celtic rearguard plenty of problems over the 90 minutes. Eddie Duggan who celebrates his 30th Birthday this weekend gave the Celtic defence a torrid time and on another day would probaly have bagged a few. Eddie in his defensive duties was a fantastic asset to his team and I'm sure the rest of the team appreciated his work rate.Billy Stack and Daniel Clinton both came on and contributed to the win. Goal scorer James Wall whose pace caused panic everytime he attacked got in behind the defence numerous times and like Duggan could have had another couple to his name. A travesty is that both these teams may not meet each other again this season and if Dynamos are succesful with their application for the Eircom A Championship this rivalry may well be a thing of the past. Two great clubs that would have been better served by one single Premier Division for the last 3 seasons.

DIVISION 1A: Fenit Samphires Vs Tralee Dynamos. Sunday 11.30

GOLF HOTEL YOUTHS LEAGUE: Tralee Dynamos 2 Park 2 When these sides met earlier in the season Park recorded a 6-0 win on Saturday is was a whole different story with Theo Diggins charges surged into a two goal lead with barely 10 minutes gone in the game. Sean Foley and Tiggy got on the scoresheet as Dynamos finished the half 2-0. Unfortunately for the youths they had only 11 players to call from due to injuries and work committments and this told later on in the game with fatigue setting in Park reduced the defecit to 1 and with less then a minute to go on Jim O'Connors watch Park levelled the score to leave it 2-2 at the final whistle. All 11 Dynamos players can be very proud of their performances and what a turnaround in short few months with a lot of the credit going to coaches Theo Diggins and Damien Quirke.

DIVISION 1A: Tralee Dynamos 4  Mastergeeha 1 Eddie Foster charges picked up 3 very valuable points in their quest to avoid relegation.Scoreless at half time and with Dynamos playing against a strong wind you would not have scripted a Dynamos win. Goals from James Wall, Michael Lynch, Damien Quirke and David Leen gave Dynamos a comprehensive win in the end.

UMBRO OSCAR TRAYNOR CUP: Kerry 5 Vs A.U.L. (Dublin) 2 Well done  to Maurice O'Rahilly & David Conway who both played in this match with Maurice getting on the scoresheet as Kerry ran riot over last years winners. In fact Kerry were 5 goals to the good before the A.U.L. got the first of their penalties to leave the score 5-1 at half time. Maurce O'Rahilly scored his goal and Kerry's second goal when his powerful header from a David Conway corner left the Dublin keeper with no chance as the ball rocketed into the net.

WELL DONE: Kingdom Boys 1 St. Josephs (D.D.S.L.) 0. Kingdom Boys advance to the last 8 of the National Cup Under 14's after a fantastic battle in Cahermoneen last Sunday. A first half goal by Darragh O'Brien was enough to seal Kingdom Boys passage into the last 8 and an away tie to Ballincollig in a couple of weeks time. Tony O'Neill and Miah Lynch will be very happy with their players who took the game to St. Joseph's from the very start and could have been a couple of goals to the good as early as the 5th minute such was their dominance. P.J. Galvin in the Kingdom Boys goal was rarely tested but in the last couple of minutes when St. Joseph's piled on the pressure he saved from point blank range to deny St. Joseph's a last gasp equaliser.Kingdom Boys: P.J.Galvin, David O'Sullivan, Shane Carey, Ian McCarthy, Brendan Flavin, Uros Ivkovic, Anthony Forde, Darragh O'Brien, Scott Monaghan, Eoin Sheehy, Adam Piggott. Subs Arron Houlihan, Darragh Carmody, Darren O'Brien, Cian Healy, Pat Hogan.

BEST OF LUCK: Tony O'Neill,Miah Lynch & Kingdom Boys U-14 team who play St. Joseph's (D.D.S.L.) this Sunday 2nd of March at 2.00pm. With over 500 teams taking part in this competition its a huge achievement so far to get to the last 16 and with an home tie Kingdom Boys will be trying their best to make the quarter finals. So if your around this Sunday please come and support Kingdom Boys in what surely will be a very entertaining game.

DENNY PREMIER A: Ballyhar 2 Tralee Dynamos 16 Tralee Dynamos arrived at the excellent Ballyhar grounds yesterday with shooting boots intact. Adrian McHugh with a huge tally of 5 goals followed by a Eddie Duggan 3 timer, Maurice O'Rahilly from the backs got two along with James Wall (2) further goals by David Conway, Daniel Clinton, Adrian Quirke got on the scoresheet for his first goal for the club. One o.g. completed the tally for the Dynamos which set a new record for the clubs with most goals scored in one game. This was Dynamos last away game in the league and with 4 home games left against Inter Kenmare, Rattoo Rovers, Dingle Bay Rovers and Lisselton Rovers they will need to get maximum points to ensure one of the semi final places. With a club as succesful as Tralee Dynamos its not easy to set a record so well done to this crop of players for their huge tally of goals.

DENNY DIVISION 1A: Behy Rovers 5 Tralee Dynamos 2

ADAM PIGGOTT: Well done to Adam who made his International debut last week in the FAI Midlands International Tournament. Adam played against Latvia, Turkey & Belgium managing to score against Turkey and being involved setting up the second goal against Belgium. Tony O'Neill manages Adam at under 14 level and we wish them the best of luck against St. Joseph's of Dublin in the last 16 of the National Cup. more

CASTLE BAR LEAGUE CUP: Castleisland B 0 Tralee Dynamos 6 They say a weeks a long time in politics try soccer!!!! After a couple of negative results Dynamos got back to winning ways with a comfortable win over a Castleisland team that never gave up and remained competitive for the 90 minutes. Goals from Damien Quirke, Theo Diggins & Eddie Duggan gave Dynamos a 3-0 lead after the half. Manager Colm Clifford made three changes bringing Eoin Cassidy, Billy Stack and Daniel Clinton on at half time. The second half turned out to be the Eoin Cassidy show scoring Dynamos 3 goals and the first man to score a hat trick for the senior team this year. His first was the result of a cross field ball by Maurice O'Rahilly, Eoin chested it down looked up saw the keeper of his line and duly volleyed the ball over the keeper a goal of pure skill. His second was a left leg volley and his third a left foot strike low into the bottom corner.

UMBRO YOUTHS CUP: Rattoo Rovers 2 Tralee Dynamos 1 Dynamos missing a couple of regulars were just pipped at the post by a very determined Rattoo Rovers. This result means that the youth team will have to concentrate on the League where they occupy second spot at the minute.

CASTLE BAR LEAGUE CUP: Castleisland B Vs Tralee Dynamos Sunday 17th Feb. 11.30 Dynamos start the defence of the Castle Bar Cup this Sunday. Castleisland B currently top the table in Division 2B.

Tim Counihan holds the Greyhound Bar Cup on the left and the Castle Bar Cup on the right both won last season.

MUNSTER JUNIOR CUP: Lisselton Rovers 1 Vs Tralee Dynamos 0

DENNY PREMIER A: Inter Kenmare 1 Vs Tralee Dynamos 0 Congrats to Inter on winning against the Dynamos for the first time in 20 years. Paul Cassidy a great servant of the club and Jimmy O'Sullivan deserve the result for all the great work they have done with the Kenmare club.

DENNY PREMIER A: Inter Kenmare Vs Tralee Dynamos Unplayable Pitch

GOLF HOTEL YOUTHS LEAGUE: Listowel Celtic Vs Tralee Dynamos New management team Theo Diggins and Damien Quirke will be delighted with their first 3 points in this game. For a few reasons the team only travelled with 11 players but to a man they put in a sterling performance. Audi Dunlea scored the only goal of the game. Games between Listowel Celtic and Tralee Dynamos over the last couple of years have shown these teams have the desire to win with strong but fair tackling all over the park no inch or quarter given as both team strive to win.Credit to both sides who again this year will have a big say in where the honours lie towards the end of the season.

DIVISION 1 A: Tralee Dynamos Vs Inter Kenmare Unplayable Pitch

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee United 0  Tralee Dynamos 0 2 points dropped was the general consensus yesterday despite 95% of the possesion Dynamos just could not break down Tralee United packed defence. Donnacha Galvin returned to Dynamos first team yesterday in goal and could not have put down a easier 90 minutes as the tactics employed by  George Dineens hard working Tralee United side concentrated more on the defensive side of the game.

DENNY DIVISION 1A Tralee Dynamos 1 Behy Rovers 2  A Paul Daly goal was not enough for Eddie Fosters men.

YOUTHS: Park 4 Tralee Dynamos Saturday 1 New managers Theo Diggins and Damien Quirke first game in charge ended in a loss despite retiring at half time at 1-1. Tralee Dynamos had 4 new players on view so patience will be needed to allow this team to gel.

PREMIER LEAGUE TABLE: Tralee Dynamos P12-27pts Lisselton P10-25pts Tralee Celtic P12-25pts  Dingle Bay Rovers P10-22 pts.

DENNY PREMIER A: Dingle Bay Rovers 0 Vs Tralee Dynamos 1 Dynamos got a valuable 3 points away to Dingle with an Eoin Cassidy header from a David Conway corner 3 minutes from time. Colm Connor in the Dingle goal had denied Dynamos on at least 6 occasions with some fantastic saves but eventually Dynamos persistence paid off in the end. Adrian McHugh will count himself unlucky with one goal disallowed another off the post and the Dingle keeper saved all his efforts. Dynamos will know that Dingle will take a lot of points at home from the other contenders in the race so despite travelling with only 12 players the management will feel it was a job well done by all the players. Damien Diggins in goals was confidence throughout with an excellent back line marshalled by Maurice O'Rahilly and Jonathon Burrows in the centre and ably supported on the flanks by Theo Diggins and Darren Crotty they limited Dingle to minimum of chances

DENNY DIVISION 1A: Tralee Dynamos 0 Vs Q.P.R. 4

DIVISION 1 A: Killarney Athletic 2 Tralee Dynamos 6 James Wall made his return to Dynamos colours after a recent suspension and scored 4 times for the reds.

BEST OF LUCK: Theo Diggins and Damien Quirke who take charge of Tralee Dynamos youths for the remainder of the season. Training continues for the youths at the Banna Beach all weather pitch at 6 this Tuesday. Full attendance is expected. Senior training resumes at 7.00 at the same venue.

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Dynamos 4 Killorglin 1

MUNSTER JUNIOR CUP: Tralee Dynamos 4 Killarney Athletic 2 Goals from Damien Diggins, Eddie Duggan (2) one  from the penalty spot and one from Captain fantastic Maurice O'Rahilly  made sure that Dynamos advanced to the " Kerry final" of the Munster Junior Cup and setup a meeting with Lisselton. Manager Colm Clifford looked for a response from the team from the previous weeks disapointment against Castlebar Celtic and the players rewarded him with 4 goals and that number could have even being greater but for some outstanding goalkeeping by Arron Quill in the Killarney Athletic goal.

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Dynamos Vs Rattoo Rovers Sunday 30th of December 11.30

"A" TEAM TRAINING: Friday 28th of December at 12.00 at Dynamos Pitch. Full attendance is expected if you are unable to attend contact Colm or Noel.

MUNSTER JUNIOR CUP: Full 4th & 5th round draws more

UMBRO FAI JUNIOR CUP: Tralee Dynamos 0 Castlebar Celtic 1. Tralee Dynamos made their exit at the fifth round stage of the FAI junior cup. Castlebar Celtic started the brighter and caused the Dynamos defence all sorts of trouble in the first 20 minutes with Dynamos keeper Gary Kissane having to be alert to the dangers of an impressive foward line for Castlebar Celtic. As the game progressed Dynamos came more into the game and James Wall saw his goalbound shot well saved by the Castlebar Celtic keeper. Half time the score was 0-0 with very little between the sides at the break. The all important goal came in the 77th minute with David Conway in possesion of the ball on the left side of midfield and under severe pressure from his opponents attempted to pass back to the keeper only for the pass to be under hit and intercepted by the Castlebar Celtic striker who cooly slotted to the net much to the delight of the travelling support. Dynamos made a couple of subtitutions bringing on Damien Quirke and Daniel Clinton to no avail with Castlebar Celtic holding on comfortably at the end. Many thanks to O'Donnell's Bar/Resturant, Mounthawk who provided refreshments after the game for both teams. Training continues Tuesday night at 7 O'clock. Full attendance is expected with Munster Junior Cup game to be decided the week.

EIRCOM LEAGUE: A meeting with representatives will be held in the New Year dates and times to be confirmed over the coming weeks. Inclusion in the "A" championship for the 2009-2010 season will be on the agenda.

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Dynamos 3 Vs A.C. Athletic 1. Dynamos gathered another three points in the league on Sunday. Weather conditions from start to finish were horrendous so much so at one stage early in the second half referee Jim O'Connor called all players off the pitch due to the severity of the hailstone. Dynamos started the game playing with a strong breeze at their backs A.C. Athletic put a lot of players behind the ball trying to make it difficult for Dynamos to breach their defence. Goals from David Conway and Damien Diggins had Dynamos 2-0 up at half time and playing against the elements in the second half. James Wall secured the win for Dynamos with his first and Dynamos third goal. A.C. Athletic got a late consolation goal. Great credit is due to all players who despite the conditions tried to play football in extremely difficult conditions.

UMBRO FAI JUNIOR CUP. Tralee Dynamos will welcome Castlebar Celtic of Mayo for the next round of the FAI Junior.more

CASTLEBAR CELTIC:  Visit their website at  http://www.castlebarceltic.com/

KERRYS EYE: An article in this weeks Kerrys Eye will show that Tralee Dynamos have indicated interest in potential Eircom League soccer over the next couple of years.

UMBRO FAI JUNIOR CUP: Tralee Dynamos 2  Listowel Celtic 1. Despite being a goal down at half time Dynamos responded with a very determined second half to score twice and advance to the 5th round of the F.A.I. Cup. Goals from Eddie Duggan and Adrian McHugh were enough to seal the tie.

GOLF HOTEL YOUTHS LEAGUE: Dingle Bay Rovers 1 Tralee Dynamos 1. Dynamos took the lead in this game through a brillant solo effort from Daniel Clinton. Daniel got the ball in his own half and went on a mazy dribble that got him passed a few defenders before cooly side footing to the net to give Dynamos the lead in the 75th minute. Dingle equalised with 5 minutes left when the impressive Joe Sheehy crossed for the striker to score from 6 yards. Dynamos had many good performers on the day. All players please note membership is due immediately.

DENNY PREMIER A: Lisselton Rovers 1 Tralee Dynamos 0. Lisselton took all three points with a late penalty in the 87th minute. Dynamos had many good performances all over the pitch and will be dissapointed not to get something out of this game.

UMBRO FAI U-17 CUP: Glin Rovers 1 Tralee Dynamos 2, Dynamos Under 17 progressed to the next round of the National Cup with a hard earned victory over Glin Rovers. Conditions were very poor and as a result the pitch cut up very badly which affected Dynamos normal passing game. To the credit of the players they battled hard for everything and were rewarded with a goal of sheer quality. Luke Reidy got on the ball at the half way line got pass two Glin players spotting the keeper off his line from 30 yards he hit a scorcher in to the top corner opening the scoring for the reds. Daniel Clinton made one of his many trademark runs ending up 18 yards from goal when he received a cross from James O'Carroll and he shot to the net much to the delight of his team. Glin pulled one back before the half time whistle so the teams retired 2-1 for Dynamos. Stand in gaffer for the day Colm Clifford ably assisted by first team players Damien Quirke and Theo Diggins got the boys refocused for the second half. Dynamos kept their lead till the full time whistle with a performance of guts and determination that gives the team an away fixture to neighbours St. Brendan's park in the 4th round which will be played on the 9th of December. Robert Birdshall made his debut for the season in goals. Craig O'Hara was voted man of the match. Well done to all players.

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Celtic 3  Tralee Dynamos 1. Dynamos unbeaten run of wins (9) came to an end against a very good Tralee Celtic side with the result in doubt up the 89th minute when Celtic scored their third goal. Again in this match Dynamos had a man sent off after 30 minutes. Suspensions to key personal and injuries meant a lot of positional changes that did not help the team. Great credit to the 10 men on the pitch for the quality of football they played and the number of chances created but for the brillance of ex Dynamos keeper Dermot Raggett the result could have been a positive one for the reds. For many of our players it was 2 matches in 2 days and this took its toll in the final minutes..

DENNY DIVISION 1A:  Fenit Samphires 2 Vs Tralee Dynamos 1. B team went down to a very strong Fenit team under lights at Mounthawk. Dynamos goal scorer was the ever reliable Mickey "Fish" Lynch. David Leen and Pa Daly marshalled the defence well. Mickey Lynch and Micko Horan tried hardest for the team.

LUCOZADE SPORT MUNSTER JUNIOR CUP: Listowel Celtic 0 Tralee Dynamos 1 Drama in Tanavalla the headline should read. Dynamos took the lead midway through the second half when Eddie Duggan and David Conway linked up to cross for Maurice O'Rahilly to head powerfully into the net. Dynamos should have sealed the win in the last fifteen minutes with a couple of chances. Listowel Celtic battled all our over the park for the 90+ minutes thought they had equalised when a header was going towards the net in the 95th minute but was handled on the line by Maurice O'Rahilly. Referee Seamus O'Mahony awarded the penalty to Listowel and red carded Dynamos captain. Timmy Cotter in the Dynamos goal guessed right diving to his left to keep out the penalty, seconds after the referee blew for full time and the reds progress into the next round of the Cup.

DENNY DIVISION 1A: Q.P.R. Vs Tralee Dynamos Dynamos failed to produce a team for this game with only 6 players available to play. This is a very dissapointing situation and one that will have to be addressed this week. Training for A team Tuesday and Thursday. B team and Youths team training Wednesday night at 7 O'Clock in Banna. All players to meet at Gala shop near Mounthawk school at 6.30.

UMBRO F.A.I. JUNIOR CUP: Tralee United 0 Vs Tralee Dynamos 4 Dynamos advanced to the next round of the F.A.I. with a solid win over United. Goals from Damien Diggins, Eddie Duggan, James Wall and Adrian McHugh. Garry Keane in the Dynamos goals made some great saves in the first couple of minutes denying United an early goal. This set the platform for the rest of the team to record another clean sheet and score 4 in the process.

BEST OF LUCK. James Wall who has started training in the Garda College in Templemore. Peter McCarthy who celebrated his 17th Birthday and to Sean Foley who will be celebrating his 18th Birthday.

DENNY DIVISION 1A: Tralee Dynamos B 4  Ballybunion 1. Dynamos B produced the performance of the day. Goals from Craig O'Hara (2), Anthony Shanahan, James O'Carroll gave the reds first points of the season.

DENNY PREMIER A: Tralee Dynamos 1  Tralee United 0 A stunning goal by James Wall was enough to give Dynamos all three points in this game. Teams retired at half time scoreless in an uneventful first half. Dynamos goal came when James Wall gained possesion on the half way line gave a penetrative pass to Adrian McHugh who in turn played to ball back to James who's first touch took the ball off the ground and with his second touch volleyed high into the net giving ex Dynamos keeper Robert Polowski no chance in the Tralee United goal. Overall possibly the poorest performance of the season by Dynamos but no one is complaining with all three points in the bag as Dynamos recorded their 7th consectutive win.

LUCOZADE SPORT MUNSTER YOUTHS CUP: Listowel Celtic 4 Vs Tralee Dynamos 1. A bad day at the office for the youths when too many players under performed. Craig O'Hara scored Dynamos goal from the penalty spot in the 60th minute. Listowel were 2 nil up at half time and despite Dynamos pressure early in the second half they went on to have a comfortable victory. Audi Dunlea, Daniel Clinton and Sean Foley tried hardest for Dynamos.

DENNY PREMIER A: Rattoo Rovers 1 Vs Tralee Dynamos 2. Adrian McHugh came up trumps again in the 48th minute of the second half to secure all three points for Tralee Dynamos. This was a hard fought physical game between two teams who had the desire to win all three points. Damien Diggins opened the scoring only for Rattoo to equalise from the penalty spot in the second half. Theo Diggins gave a man of the match performance.

David Conway, James Wall, Damien Diggins and for his persistance over the 90 minutes Damien Quirke got his deserved goal.

DENNY DIVISION 1 B: Mastergeeha 1 Vs Tralee Dynamos B 0 The B team were unlucky to lose one nil to last season's premier side Mastergeeha. Jonathon Burrows in defence made a welcome return to club colours. Eddie Foster would have been happy with 18 players to select from.

DENNY PREMIER A: A.C. Athletic 2 Vs Tralee Dynamos 4

UMBRO FAI YOUTHS CUP: St. Brendan's Park  1 Vs Tralee Dynamos 0

MUNSTER JUNIOR CUP: St. Brendan's Park 1 Vs Tralee Dynamos 2 Dynamos advanced to the next round of the cup with a comfortable 2-1 win over local rivals Park. Goals from Damien Diggins and a scorcher from David Conway 35 yards out had Dynamos 2-0 up with almost 90 minutes played. Park to their credit battled on and got a consolation goal just before the final whistle. Adrian McHugh's sublime chip hitting the crossbar was a let off for the Park. Garry Kissane made his debut in goals for Dynamos and should be happy with his contribution to the squad. Billy Stack until his departure was a thorn in the Park's side who could not cope with his trickery down the line.

GOLF HOTEL YOUTHS LEAGUE: Tralee Dynamos 6  Vs Tralee Celtic  3 A stunning hat-trick debut for  James O'Carroll gave Dynamos a very comfortable win over new boys Tralee Celtic. Further goals from Wayne Conway, Daniel Clinton & Sean Foley gave Dynamos all three point.

DENNY PREMIER "A": Killorglin 2 Vs Tralee Dynamos 3 Damien Diggins opened the scoring in the first half heading to the net from an excellent Billy Stack cross. Dynamos lead at half time 1-0. Killorglin started the better of the second half and equalised in the 50th minute with a looping header that decieved Mikel in the Dynamos goal. A few minutes later Killorglin took the lead through a well taken goal. Dynamos responded with Damien Diggins taking on a few defenders coming by the bye line and crossing for David Conway who had the simple task of heading to the empty net. A couple of minutes later Dynamos sealed the victory when James Wall won possesion on the half way line and played a through ball to Adrian McHugh who received the ball on the 18 yard line on his weaker left foot and shot high in to the top corner a goal worthy of winning any game.

DENNY PREMIER "A" Tralee Dynamos 3 Vs Tralee Celtic 2 Goals from Damien Diggins and a brace from James Wall gave Tralee Dynamos a comfortable win to start  the new season over newly promoted Tralee Celtic. Eoin Cassidy sustained ligament damage and is expected to be out for some time. All in Tralee Dynamos wish Eoin a speedy recovery.
