Inter B 3 Vs Tralee Dynamos 3 


We travelled 2 Kenmare on sun morning 4 a P.M K.O. The reason I felt was in the last few games we never started the game until 15-20 mins into the game. We started the game brightly and bossed the game and took the lead within 5 mins when the ball was played into the box 4 Chris to tap it in. Great start and played inter off the park playing some nice football with Jamie playing well in the centre. 

Then came a crazy 10 mins when Inter got 2 goals from nothing. The first came when we lost the ball and there centre midfielder ran clear, our defence parting like the red sea equalised. 2 make matters worse we started 2 panic and our back 4 who started well, were caught square several times and with this a long ball Patrick let the ball pass him and there forward scored their second. This did not represent the amount of possession and chances we had in the 1st half.

At the half we looked on the positives and went into the 2nd half with a lot of vigour. Again we controlled the half playing nice football and creating chances. There only chances came when they hoofed the ball forward. From one of these Gheorghe had plenty of time 2 deal with the ball, with Richie calling 4 it Gheorghe was shoved off the ball at the corner flag and when they went into the box Patrick lunged in and conceded a penalty which they converted.

There was still plenty of time left and I just told them 2 keep playing and we will get back into this game. Sonic and Niall was doing well raiding down the flanks, Jamie controlling middle midfield, Edgar standing tall at the back, and Ado and Chris causing problems up front, we kept them pinned back. With 15 mins left Ado skinned one of them and with the aid of a deflection got our second.

I then made a double change bringing on 2 youths Jamie Blake and Declan Clifford 4 Gheorghe and Sonic. We then pelted their goal with attack after attack with no joy. We played 3 at the back, with 3 up front. Jamie was unlucky on several occasions with several shots just wide. I brought on Joe 4 Patrick and with time running out they were on all 4s. In the dying moments Ado got clear in the box and rifled the ball home 2 equalise. Another 2 points dropped with a lot of work 2 do at the back, but the way we played football was pleasing.
